BEACH & BAY COTTAGE TOUR SNEAK PEEK 10

Serenity on the Bay

The owners always wanted a home on the water.  In 2022, when a lot with a sweeping bay view became available, they knew they found their perfect spot.  They set out to create a welcoming home with an aesthetic they describe as “modern coastal with a touch of driftwood.”

Walking through the front door, your eyes are drawn immediately to the sweeping view of the Indian River Bay and the Inlet bridge in the distance.  You then start to notice closer details such as a nearby osprey’s nest and the teeming wildlife along the water’s edge.  The interior of the home has the same effect.  The large open, peaceful interiors capture your interest and then you notice a skillful selection of artwork in various mediums and sizes, small decorative vignettes, and wall décor employing coastal textures.

Outside, multi-level decks and a dock take full advantage of the water view.   The main deck has a built-in long pool and comfortable seating for relaxing while the upper deck is perfect for sunning, viewing the ocean, and enjoying firework displays in the evening.   Striking custom-made privacy panels on two decks and around the pool are adorned with circling schools of fish.  If you look closely, you may spot one fish moving in the opposite direction in each swirl.

Inside, the home has a calm ambience with gathering spaces to enjoy on every level.   A modern kitchen counter with seating and a large dining area invites family and friends to converse and share a meal.  Guest bedrooms are large, private spaces with beautiful bedspreads and comfortable reading nooks.  Each room is uniquely designed with carefully curated artwork, interesting lighting fixtures, and luxurious bathrooms with waterfall-styled tile in the showers.

The homeowners’ vision to create “a comfortable retreat where our family and friends could come enjoy living on the water” has been beautifully realized with an emphasis on relaxation and enjoyment within the home and outside by the bay.

This is just one of the outstanding properties that will be viewed by those who purchase tickets for the 32nd Beach & Bay Cottage Tour.
