BEACH & BAY COTTAGE TOUR SNEAK PEEK #4

After 30 years of making memories at the owner’s parents’ vacation home, the owners found a

lot just a block away where they could build a home to make their own memories. Completed

in 2023, the 4100 square foot home evokes the southern charm of a coastal farmhouse with a

welcoming front porch and an old style porch swing. Utilizing an inverted floor plan allowed

them to spread five bedrooms, four baths and three half baths over three levels to

accommodate their growing family, including six grandchildren under the age of three.

On the main floor architectural peaks and angles are enhanced with exposed wood beams

adding character and a grand open feeling to the comfortable coastal decor. A prep room on

the lower level offers everything needed to organize food, drinks and gear for a day on the

beach while an adjacent home gym is fully equipped for family workouts. Outdoors the couple

has created a backyard oasis for entertaining family and friends with a covered lanai for alfresco dining, an outdoor TV, hot tub and fire pit.

This is just one of the outstanding properties that will be viewed by those who purchase tickets for the 32nd Beach & Bay Cottage Tour. This week’s home is one of the 6 homes on the 32 nd Tour that will be available for in-person tours by holders of Combo tickets. And, like all 10 homes on the 2024 tour, this home will also be available to be seen virtually by holders of both Combo and Virtual tickets. Each of the 10 homes will feature a professionally produced video which will offer Tour patrons with an opportunity to view each home as often as they want from anywhere during the three-week virtual tour period. Special features include bird’s-eye drone video footage and the ability to view the Tour on any internet-enabled device.

The 32nd Beach & Bay Cottage Tour is proudly presented by Leslie Kopp and The Leslie Kopp Group and this week’s home is sponsored by Platinum sponsor, Heather’s Home Works.
